I have been using basically the same set-up as Rich, even with the temperature half-way. I have been using Radio Shack solder because it's easy for me to find. Maybe I should try this other kind. I have stuck my tip cleaner container to the top of the station so that I can always find it. That Weller station is a good one - I think it's WLC100.
