That's really great to see the 2825 in BN Cascade Green! It's even wilder to think that back in '88 I worked on it during it's rebuild into a GP39M at the Boise shop. Thanks for the memories!!

Here is another one of your shops efforts in GJ assigned to Road Switcher Service, BN 2820 still has BN markings in 1998. One of the first units assigned to Local service in GJ after BNSF started exercising their trackage rights after the UP/SP thing.
A good locomotive, pulled more than you would think a single unit could pull.

Thanks! These 39M's got some great wheelslip controls added helping them pull so much more than the original 30's! Rebuilding these was a fun job!

From 03/18/1997 at Maine, AZ. No orange units, but technically BNSF I suppose.

Today's NS 15R at Winnsboro and Blythewood, SC. Quite a treat to see BNSF in these parts. That's the former SOU depot at Winnsboro.

Here's a rarity on the BNSF-2377, ex-TP&W 2006 by way of the Santa Fe!
Seen it Saturday in Auburn, Wa.

Notice it has no dynamic brakes, rare on BNSF!

The plow and pilot paint on that #5105 look recent. Newer than the orange. I wonder if it had some collision damage repaired?
