    Wow nice progress.

That's a very photogenic curve for your train shots.

Matthew, I started last fall. :)

Geeky, Thanks, I need to add some hillside
and a tunnel at the back of that curve still.

Nice! Is that grain facility a model? Or part of your backdrop?

    Thanks BoxcabE50,

It is the beginnings of the Medusa Cement.
I thought the ADM Grain Elevator was too big.

I finally got some pollyscale concrete paint.
It's time to get the airbrush out.

    Verse,

I found it in a consignment bin for a buck or two.

Sorry, I don't recall the brand.

On the bottom it says made in china. :) :) :)

I tried building up the hillside a little more.
I am not sure how much to build it up and
how much to paint on the backdrop.
    Any comments or suggestions?

That hill looks about right to me, it dont want to go to high up on the backdrop.

Thats one thing I struggle with (and what I need to sort out soon!) Not sure how to do it in a built up area....

That looks about right to me. You did a nice job on the cut to the tunnel.

    Thanks guys.

I will apply a smoothing coat to the ground around the tunnel
but I am still looking for some rock castings that I put in a box.

Here is the stained and painted tunnel portal.
