The rear of an SD-80MAC, being I'm going to model this from a Rail Power Products shell from a SD-90MAC-H I know the rear of these 2 loco's were different, an I need to see just how much different an all to make it as realistic as very possible! Anyone got a good detailed picture of any of the SD-80MAC's in Conrail pait or even CSX #801??? I got a few pictures of 801 but couldn't get the rear section shot so...Being CSX never changed anything on these units, from what Conrail orderd, I can model mine from a Conrail unit an just paint mine CSX "Bright Future" an number it 801, so.... TIA

Thanks Barb! I sure appaciate it. thats going to be the next one I model.. Just it will look like the pictures of the engine I took, CSX #801 in other posts! :D One of those pictures is on my desk top an its been screamin' at me to be the next modeled diesel! So... :D It's up for the task of becoming CSX #801! :D

Being the loco shell I'm starting with is a SD-90MAC-H model I have some customizations to do to make it a SD-80MAC so.. which I knew their was a difference in the rear of the SD-80MAC but wasn't sure exactly on what an how much etc.. these pictures will help greatly! THANKS AGAIN!

    Barb,
It seems like I go from one thing to another! :D From steam to deezul I mean HA! But railfanning in todays life, you only see these big deezuls so. no big steamers around that I'd like to take pictures of, just isn't possible! :( But, being a railfan, I guess I have to settle for whats out their. And that big CSX SD-80MAC is right up my alley! :D so.. Plus the 801 I have posted pictures of, is the only CSX SD-80MAC thats CSX owns in the CSX colors, till the one comes out of the Huntington WV paint shop, its SD-80MAC #812 or #813, and will be the "new" Dark Future colors.... So.... I had to get a few pictures of 801 being the CSX Bright Future sceme, being it was the last CSX owned loco to get that paint sceme.... And the one picture is on my desktop as wallpaper, an its been screaming "John, you need a model of me" :D So.. I'm listening an making one! [IMG]
