OK, been a while since I had something to post in here. I am about done with my C & S boxcars. These cars are all Bachmann undecorated. The decals come from my friends at Rio Grande Hobby Company. After some great advice in the Inspection Pit I was able to get the decals on without any shine at all. The cars represent a mix of weathering. Since some of these cars were shopped out in June 1899 and others in September 1899 I have opted to represent both since I model October 1899. Thus the 8137 and the 8132 are slightly weathered (I carved out some of the slats and also cut wood grain in some, used India Ink and chalk) while 8139 and 8135 are freshly shopped and show no weathering at all. The last car in the string will be 8133. Anyhow, after having not applied decals to models since I was a kid, I think these came out great...with the guidance of you guys...THANKS!!!!

Well done. That 8137 looks great with the weathering!
