Does anyone have any information or photos of the two Soo Distribution Twin Stack cars? There were two of them, SOO 54569 and 54570 and are no longer listed in online equipment tracking sites. I am wondering what the "distribution" means on the car and how long they were in service.
Well I did get some information on these cars. Seems they didn't last long on the Soo - by July 1990 they are no longer listed in the ORER (Official Railway Equipment Register) and were sold or leased to the SP as SP 2416 and SP 2417 - photos of the cars after transfering to the SP are posted at the Yahoo! modelintermodal group - you may need to be a member to view them: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/modelintermodal/files/NeilGrossPhotos/ Anyone have pictures of these when they were Soo?
