SD75I - I am working on two SOO SD40-2's right now in HO. Here are good on-line resources for any scale: Soo Line Photo Archive http://www.starnet.com.au/soors27/ Soo Line Historical and Technical Society has some excellent drawings on line http://www.sooline.org/freight/locomotives/locomotives.html SD40's and SD40-2's were covered in the Winter and Spring issues of "the SOO" (SLHTS magazine) drawings and a complete history is included. The SOO Line had almost every variation of SD40 and 40-2 available and over the years they kept changing the darn things - so the modeling possibilities are almost endless!

Thanks, Watash! They have white paint on them at present and now another soon-to-be Soo unit has arrived, I will attempt to get them all ready by the weekend. As for the engineer smoking... as much chance as me changing to HO... Gary.
Well you could at least have him wave, and put a little kid down there to wave back. That's what all engineers are supposed to do for the kids!
Shall I have the little !*$#^@ holding a rock or a spray can in the other hand? Oops, can't do that - I'm not a current era modeller. Dave, I'm out of action with the desktop which has the images I offered. Hopefully by the weekend I can start sending them. Gary.
