    Hi everyone...
I just had a quick question. Going way back 25 years ago I was into O scale trains but lost track the last 20-25 years. I recently purchased a set and the loco needs some work. I would prefer to find someone reliable to do it for me. Can anyone recommend someone that is dependable and hopefully who can get to it in a reasonable amount of time? I sure appreciate the recommendations....

I have an American Flyer 3116 loco...

But I have a couple Lionels tucked away also if you have any suggestions on those....

    Thanks!

On Lionel's website there is a search engine for authorized dealers and service people. You could try that, one Lionel repair guy I know works on American Flyer also.

    http://www.lionel.com/CustomerService/Dealers/

I own 4 Lionel locomotives, restored/rebuilt two of them myself.

Thank you for the link, very much appreciated. I hadn't thought to check the Lionel website....I will make a few calls tomorrow and see if anyone works on Flyers....Thanks!

I might consider trying to work on one at some point in the future but right now at least for this one I would like to make sure it's done right....not real confident in my abilities when it comes to anything small and intricate!
