    Larry,
Thanks for the link. Great modeling there. I hope more people take the time to enjoy your pictures. Nice paint jobs on the Southern cabooses too. How long did Southern use the yellow baywindow?

    Good morning Greg.

    Thanks for the comment.

A number of these pictures were made as I was checking out a new camera. Presumly, the quality of the pictures should improve as the operater's skill level increases.

As for the cab's yellow bay window color, I'm not sure when Southern stopped painting them. However, I saw both red and yellow painted bay windows, on cabs here in Greenville on the Southern Railway on up past their merger with N & W.

A Greenville model club member friend of mine and I have begun to limit our run operations and 'will' begin to work on scenery and some needed sidings. The improvements should show up in future pictures.

I really need a new location for a Union Station. More passenger cars are inbound and the current station accomadations are at near full utilization.

Larry - They are great photos. Of course they are ACL/SAL and Southern, so that'll get my attention right away. And, being O-scale
I'll bet they're even more impressive in person.

    Good morning Dave.

Yes. The Atlantic Coast Line, Seaboard Air Line and Southern Railway trains do get a person's attention. Since all three were almost in all the southeast cites, many people remember them (as you and I do). That is why my layout became a bridge line - so that I could operate all three roads (plus some others as they come available)

I'm back in the Flt Ops Ctn this morning and from the weather people, I see that Tropical Storm Gabrielle will now miss Charleston and just skirt the NC Outter Banks. Perhaps you could have used the rain. I know we could in Greenville.

Dave. I am working on improving the future pictures of the SCRS and they should be better. At least the early ones will be good for proof of inventory (in addition to the paper inventoru) until I make new pictures. My mine is working overtime as to what I can do with the camera (train, home picture inventory's).
