Can anyone tell me if SP had the canadian style 4-bay cylindrical hoppers. If so I need to see photographic evidence please. Thanks [ 24 June 2002, 04:23: Message edited by: John Barnhill ]
AFAIK, SP/SSW never rostered any Canadian-built cylindrical hoppers. The closest thing they owned, visually at least, were some early 3-bay and 3-bay, six outlet Center Flow hoppers built by ACF (SP classes H-100-14 and H-100-5, respectively). Here are some links to pics and info on them, from Lee Gatreaux's Railgoat SP/SSW Freightcar site: H-100-5: http://www.railgoat.railfan.net/spcars/byclass/hopper/h100-05.htm H-100-14: http://www.railgoat.railfan.net/spcars/byclass/hopper/h100-14.htm
