Got the window maker in all the windows, and tomorrow after it's cured I'll add the wipers. Got the wind deflectors on the cab, and the headlights and class lights filled. Got the radio antenna coming from Craig. Put builders plates on both sides, as well as the 'Roseville' stencil. Did the number boards too, but did a bad job on them. I may change later on if it bugs me too much. Also painted the step faces.
Heck Jerry - those number boards look better than most of SP's back in the day - I wouldn't sweat it Looking good!
More done to the Kodachrome SD45T-2. Radio antenna ground plain and Sinclair antenna from BLMA installed. Speedometer cable installed. When the cable sets up I am going to paint all the trucks silver. Also going to add a brake chain on this model.
Actually, I have seen the gray, SP bloody nose paint scheme with those red number boards left over from the failed merger. Just a nice little detail to add to another engine. And Jerry...ANOTHER brass engine?!!
Geez, Jerry, with work like this, it's hard to one-up you... Heck, you set the bar so high that you make it hard for you to one-up yourself!
Thanks Hemi! Still going to add a few more things to the Kodachrome, but got the trucks at least painted for some photos on the layout.
I wonder what they would have looked like now if the merger had gone through. Silver and Red SPSF units?
It's not a "Kodak Moment," it's a "Kodachrome Moment.":tb-biggrin: Ok, that was bad, but those units sure look good:tb-rolleyes:
