Does anyone have a list, of narrow gauge videos available, for those times before the D&RGW finally quit operating their narrow gauge lines? Pre- tourist RR days? Boxcab E50
Green Frog has Rio Grande Oddesy which as some D&RGW Narrow gauge in it. Pentrex has the present Durango & Silverton and the Cumbres & Toltec on vid. Sunday River might be another place to check out. There might be some others but off hand those are the ones that I know of.

I know there's some stuff out there from a fellow named Emery Gulash. But am not certain how many, or what? Believe that Green Frog has a couple that I have seen in the past. Boxcab E50
The Emery Goulash footage is the Rio Grande Odyessy. Highly recommended! Another good Goulash film: http://www.trainvideodepot.com/Emery-Gulash-Narrow-Gauge-Collection-DVD-Green-Frog.php RGS action here: http://www.trainvideodepot.com/RGS-DRGW-DVD-Green-Frog.php
You're right. Good memory! The footage can be seen on the Machines of Iron DVD titled Gunnison. You can read my review of it here. :tb-biggrin:
Hmmm. Now I am wondering. As I rented this on VHS, so long ago, who was offering it back then? Boxcab E50
I don't have any catalogs that go back that far. :tb-frown: I went back and re-watched the Gunnison DVD. There is 7+ minutes of footage where a flanger plow runs on a coal gondola train from Gunnison to Crested Butte and back in February 1952. The narrator says it was shot by Rocky Mountain Railroad Club member Irv August. He took a ride in the caboose to get ringside flanger footage (and how I envy him). Even if it isn't a match, I recommend the DVD.
