    Would love to have been there to watch, and listen!

    Am always intrigued by the practice of some railroads, when painting driver tires white. Seems like making extra maintenance work. They got dirty, grimy, chipped and peeled so easily.

    Wo! She looks like she's on the ground. Whahoppen? :confused:
    Darren, the cylinder and valve housing on those engines sure tilt outboard at the top, whereas a lot of steamers had the valve directly over the cylinder. Do you know why they are like that? Valve gear geometry? [​IMG]
