not unless that includes pics of Green River Wyoming. Had a full on day today. Started at Caboose Hobbies, only spent $260 which considering...... it ain't that much but I didn't see any loco's I wanted. SO I bought some Trainworx hoppers, a bunch of Atlas stuff, intermountain and Red Caboose, plus decals. After that we headed out to Golden to the train museum, took a bunch of pics of pretty much all their stuff. I could only find Goose 2 and 6 and both were being restored. We then headed to Forney to the transportation museum to see the big boy. WHY do museums fail to light the subject and give you sufficient room to shoot the object???. I've already got shots of a big boy from Scranton in 2000 but my old man was annoyed as that was the only one he'll see.
Weather has been great although a change is forcasted for tomorrow ( Going to Royal Gorge tomorrow) and maybe some snow for Monday. Monday night to Chicago and last hobby shop Des Plaines Hobbies, as I want to pick up a C&NW sleeper they have just released.

    What do I miss......
    X-box
    DVD player and TV
driving and walking on the correct side of the road/footpath
1 and 2 dollar coins and plastic money in different colours that is easily distinguishable and easy to feed into a machine
not having to tip someone for doing their job
enclosed sewers that do not give of a sh*t smell on every corner (ESP Philly :( )
    and most important

    working the train!!!

Oh, we have plastic money that is very easy to feed machines with. Master Card, Visa, American Express etc.. Every now and then we have to obtain some of that flimsy paper stuff so we just put our plastic in a machine that spits out $20 food coupons. :D Then when redeeming those we usually obtain a pocket full of coins as change.

slushy snow in Denver at the moment but alot heavier further west. not sticking to the ground where I am but alot of cars driving past the hotel are rolling snowballs.

had a great day yesterday on the Royal Gorge... just had to do it....... in the cab of the ex C&NW F7's !!!!! :D awesome!!!!! a must do for anyone who can get down there. after the trip headed up to the bridge to look down upon it and saw someone plunge to their death....... but he had a rubber band attached to his ankles so he survived.

off to Chicago tonight on the Zephyr, few things planned
    Des Plaines Hobbies
I did this trip last time so I might do it again.
South Shore to Hammond - CSX on other side of car park, back to jcnt (can't remember name of station) Met Electric to Blue Island - Iowa Interstate if your lucky, Metra to Joliet then back to Chicago.
    BNSF racetrack

I don't care, I didn't pay for it. All off New South Wales did when they paid their taxes, so I'll just get another one, just annoying, misplaced it, walked out, came back a short time later and gone in less than a few minutes.

thought you would like that, got myself another one

Crime Lab, "If the body doesn't walk, we'll bring the chalk"

got 2 Atlas PFE reefers (yellow not orange - SP logos) if your interested, I bought them then forgot what colour they were supposed to be.....

arrived in LA this morning just over 2hrs late.... bonus this time, as the decent of Cajon was in daylight....... although abit overcast.

delay attributed to broken down train.
also while on the Grand Canyon RR, passing their shops I noticed 2 Amtrak F59PHI's attached to some demotored CalTrain RDC's, one would assume that they were used to ferry the cars from San Fran to Williams and to add to it they were attached to the front of my train for the trip home. so for a lashup we had 2 F59's and 3 P42's who Hoo!!!!!

passed a tonne of freights mainly intermodal. - alot of swoosh logos around, on cars, locos, intermodal wells and just to boot Metra Bi-levels. seems a choice has been made and they changeover will be a quick one.
heading to Tehachapi tomorrow, got to go and hire a car. (had a Pontiac G6 - sweeeet ride!! :D )

head home on Friday after some 19,000miles of travel in 7 weeks, I'm exhausted and only have 4 days to rest before back to the grindstone.

saw Tehachapi..... with no trains.... so drove to Cajon and got a few there, plus a steel train and a local switching at Oro Grand.
head home tonight, can't wait to get back to civilisation.
Jason have got 3 Red Caboose PFE reefers if your interested....
will see the Sydney crew when I get back.

    the end of the trip.
