Anybody know of a stockyard model and who might make one in N scale?

I've looked through my last Walthers catalog (from last year) and didn't see any.

If you look through past issues of N Scale magazine, they did an article about these a while back (Jul/Aug 98) which showed and listed different yards, cars and details for stock yards.

Boy, can't remember ever seeing a stockyard kit in N. Wouldn't be to hard to scratch one though. See if you can contact Campbell scale models in Durango Colorado and get them to send you the plans to the HO stockyard that they make then reduce the plans to N on a copy machine. Or maybe some nice boarder will give you a hand and copy a set for you, hey Watash! can you help? (My plans are long gone or else I'd be glad to help!) good luck!

The Stockyards that I have built were from a kit made by Athabasca Scale Models and the part # for the single chute kit is 6102 and they have an add- on post and rail sections that is part #6103. With just these 2 kits you can make a very good loading point for your stock cars. If you combime several of the chutes and a couple of the post and rail sections you can have a small stockyard! Hope this helps.
