Done NOTHING down stairs. Far to busy at work and building and wiring 18 G scale modules (Del Oro Pacific type) and scenery on 12 Free-Mo type HO modules. That and travelling around the West for Rider games.

Still, I've cleaned up and simplified Winter Valley Regional Railroad - Welcome! so it's a little more colourful and nicer to look at (IMHO) so that will do until September. I should have the 'overview' photos selected by then.

Web page, as always, looks very nice.

Any info on the web, about this "Del Oro Pacific"?

    Check out Del Oro Pacific

The "Menu" is a little hard to find there in the smoke but when you do check out the design pages. The Okanagan group has 10 straight, double track modules (30" x 48") and four corner sections each in two parts. We use a simple standard trailer hitch 4 wire extension through each module (connected to a power/control plug in on each module) as well as a non standard, two wire through connection for 12V accessories. All buildings and other scenery items are member built and owned and put in place for shows.

My three modules include one straight through with a grain elevator, one straight through with cross over switches and one 'canyon' with a through truss wooden bridge. Track is ballasted but ground cover is kept as simple as possible. Not the beautiful detailed work of the original Del Oro layout as we are a 'show and tell' club intent on introducing the public to large scale model railways as a hobby. Although I'd love to fill my canyon with trees from eastern Mountain Models. See http://www.easternmountainmodels.com/ Someday maybe.
