Ok...before you flame away. I am modeling in N scale right now and my 2 year old son is a train freak. I would live to do a garden railroad but don't have the space and plan to move in the next year or so...so that will have to wait. I was thinking about doing a hanging loop around my sons room until then. My question is Does anyone make suspension railings you can buy. I have seen it done many times but don't know if all of them are scratch built or if anyone produces them. I have been searching on the web and on line and several forums but with no luck.

    thanks for input.

Most of those setups I have seen, instead of being suspended, have been around the walls on some variant of a shelf bracket.

I would think those hardware items you seek are something found at the big home center box stores?

:tb-cool: I guess it comes down to filling the holes when it comes time. Shelf brackets sound much easier to do on the install and uninstall, but suitable U brackets don't sound hard to fabricate. Either way he's gonna love it, but toddlers don't have much fear of heights.
