The railroad that I model, Wiregrass Central, was recently purchased by G&W. Since the purchase, an SW1500 and an SW1504 have shown up in G&W livery. The SW1500 is simple enough to get. How do I get an SW1504? I was thinking of getting an MP15 drive and lengthing an SW1500 shell. The SW1504 is two feet longer than the SW1500 and the MP15 is three feet longer than the SW1500. I think one foot too long, using the MP15 drive, is not reason enough to slice off a foot from the drive. As I am relatively new to kitbashing and I do not believe I currently possess the skills to do serious cutting on a metal frame. Then piece it together with a high degree of certainty that it is properly aligned. Anyway, someone out there may have already cracked this nut. So I look forward to your comments and suggestions.
