Currently have a small Kato 1 Double Crossover and 3 turnout layout running under JMRI on Pi 4 and DCC ++ EX base on Mega + Motor Shield. Looking for info and various ways one can program Switch-Kat stationary decoder hardware address. Thanks
You connect a jumper between PROG and GND and send a switch command. It will be programmed to whatever address to witch you send the switch command.
Thank you. That confirms things. Can a wireless throttle like Engine Driver be used to program Switch-KAT or does it need to be done in JMRI? Are there any other steps, after hardware address is set (any number from 2 to 32xxx), besides entering turnout in JMRI Turnout table using hardware address previously set? Thank you
