Switch off section of track

I am using Digitrax to control my doc layout in Ho scale. I want to stop the power in the rails going to my engine house so when I have engines parked inside for service they don't keep drawing power. Do I do this with a toggle switch? If so can some walk me thru what type of toggle switch and how to wire it

 

Yup, put a toggle switch on one of the feeder wires and mount it on the fascia. Assuming your engine house isn't deep in the scene anyway. Also, gap the rails.

I would think it's best to switch off both feeders. So a double pole switch would be required.
