A new update has been released for SwitchWithIt. This version incorporates the following changes: 1. Several object display problems have been corrected. 2. Yard tracks classified as for cars going to towns were not routing cars correctly. If a car was going to a yard or industry in a town, it wasn't being routed to the correct track. 3. Empty cars (Status EA) that were at their Return When Empty location we being picked up and sent to yards for storage. These cars will now stay at their RWE location until assigned a new shipment. You may download the updated program at https://sourceforge.net/projects/switchwithit/?source=directory ALWAYS backup your data files before installing the update. The update should not delete any of the data files but be safe and backup anyway. I have submitted the program to McAfee and Norton for whitelisting. However, this may take up to a week to occur.
david : I am having problems with this program. I wrote you before - but not on trainboard. under the shipment tab - " this location sends" & to this location" it does not print out in the boxes. The cursor blinks but will not prijnt out. Maybe did I get a bad download???? Jays Engrg. Joe Kocsis
Jay, I think I have already responded to you off-line. I don't frequent Train Board very often. I primarily use RailroadLine.com. When creating shipments, for both the pickup location and the drop off location, you have to drill down to the specific track. For example, for a shipment of lumber from Jay's Lumber Co, you must select the specific track such as the Loading Dock track. For the drop off location it is the same. If the drop off location is Farwest Custom Millwork, you would have to select a specific track such as Exterior Loading Door #1. Any other questions should be sent to SwitchWithIt@zoho.com David
