Just use decals for the door details. Don't forget, those are almost N-scale sized photos of a T-scale loco. Seeing them in person (especially after decoration is complete) probably would not make it nearly as noticeable. But "rough in" the door lines using decals, and I bet that even the n-scale photos would look good.
When will these be available for purchase from Shapeways? I see the original is no longer on Shapeways. Will you be creating more variety of modern rollingstock? FYI - I would be interested in wellcars (with 53' containers) and spine cars with trailers (and maybe a 53' container variant). I can do my own metal etchings of handrails, ladders, platform walkways, etc. let me know! I want some when they are ready! Tim
Is there anymore progress in the way of the F-units Mark? I seen another layout this last weekend and the owner was running a GP9 and it was so smooth running and was a great little layout, I might have to take the T-plunge!
GP9 and smooth running? This is not good.... I'm already spending more money than I should in Z gauge... But the temptation is getting stronger. Maybe a happy compromise of narrow gauge in Z?
Dude, just seen a very nice GP40 in the gold C&O special EMD scheme on Ebay-has correct trucks and all!! It is a very nice piece!! https://www.ebay.com/itm/T-Scale-1-...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
Mark!!!! Where'd you go??? Your Shapeways store has been missing for quite some time! I'd like to get some of your "T" gauge items. Hobo Tim
Hi Mark, Do you plan on selling these again now that T Gauge has a 6-axle power unit? I would be interested in buying several.
daaaang, with such small scale, you may need to vacu-form the shell! One of them old vacuum forming machines. nice looking work!
