I hope to find parts for my Atlas Riverosi Italian made F7 loco. This is my first N gauge or postage stamp train from the mid 1960's I have figured out how to make carbon brushes for it, but now I need a front truck assembly.

Hi Dakota66, Welcome to the TrainBoard. I may still have some very old F7's in my junk box. I don't know if they're Atlas or Bachmann, but you're welcome to them if I do. I'll get back to you in a short.....

    Welcome to TrainBoard!

It might take a little searching around, but I am certain you can dig up the parts you need. Post a "looking for" message in our N Scale Forum, or even try the same in our TrainStore.

Dakota66, I found a very old Bachmann F9A that may help you. The Spookshow write up, http://www.spookshow.net/bachf9a.html, second (1971) release best matches the body and mechanism I have.

It has no motor, but both trucks are intact with gear towers, worms, and the truck ends of the u-joints. I don't know if these trucks are compatible with your Atlas/Rivarossi, but it's yours at no charge if you want it. PM me with your address and I'll put it in the mail tomorrow.

BTW, it's lettered as Penn Central #4253, which also may help date it.
