WE WILL BE GOING THOUGH THE FOLLOWING TOWNS IF POSSIBLE: TROY csx n-s PIQUA same line SIDNEY* csx's e-w/n-s RUSSIA csx e-w I SHOULD HAVE MOST ALL OF THE DAY TO RAILFAN. WE CAN STAY AT ANY OF THOSE PLACES AND NOT HAVE TO MOVE ON BECAUSE SATURDAY'S TEND TO BE PRETTY BUSY. PLENTY OF FOOD IS AVAILABLE EXCEPT IN RUSSIA. JOIN US IF YOU CAN! LET ME KNOW! I'LL NEED SOME CHEERING UP AFTER I SAY GOODBYE TO MY DAUGHTER THE DAY BEFORE AT HER COLLEGE. *sidney has a crossing that's under and over which is great. but trespassing is a no no more there than anywhere i've been! that's a very large trespassing area with the high speed connection there also. very limited area to view the north/south trains anymore. there's a huge viaduct and a model rr club there also. don't know if anyone would be there though. a guy opened up for me once and let me see it. it was cool. 8/24/02 in Troy! I've already made up my mind that I'm coming back to Sandpatch in the fall when the colors are ripe. Maybe I can drag the wife and son along. We always go for a weekend drive to see the fall colors. Hey, why not Sandpatch? As far as Troy, Oh. Aug. 24th. JT, I'll have to get back to you on that one. August is usually pretty hectic for us as there are several family birthdays right around that time including mine.
Herman, Let me know when you come back to Sand Patch an all.. I may be able to show you some other areas near by if you like.... I know alot more then we have been at....

I just may be able to make it with a little creative planning. My Brother-in-Law lives in Colombus and we go to visit him once every couple months or so. My wife Julie has an Aunt and Uncle in Cridersville, just outside of Wapakaneta. She will talk to her brother this week to see if he'll be around that weekend. If so, I can be there! We'll see.
