Yes, the weather has been something this year!!!! TBX 3401 did get a special treat this weekend, before heading home. It joined the two original Trainboard cars on the Coosa Valley's N Scale layout, on display at TVRM's Railfest. These cars combined have been around the world, and during the celebration in Chattanooga were viewed by several hundred people.
Here TBX 3401 and the other Trainboard cars are pulled around the layout. The sound you hear is the rain on the large tent the layout is in. Love the video! That's awesome that you got to run TBX 3401 on the Coosa Valley's N Scale layout! I wonder if it drove any visitors to look up TrainBoard.
Thank you for all who have hosted the car and then posted photos. I have enjoyed them all and all the layouts are great. Lots of talent on here. S,o did it ever arrive in the Bay Area?
Area 51 ?!! I was there once. I saw Elvis walking in and out a door so he could keep hearing "Elvis has left the building!" over and over on the PA system. I saw the loch ness monster doing laps in a doughboy pool. Saw Jimmie Hoffa tossing a football up and down while standing under some goalpost that had "GIANTS" painted on it. Even saw some aliens. They where standing on a corner holding "Immigration Reform" signs...weird. But I swear I never saw TBX 3401 anywhere. ;-)
It might have already been gone. The Martians had damage to their space ship last year, after a failed attack on the planet Zondorff. They landed at Area 51 to make repairs, and were using pieces of 3401 to patch things up for their trip back home.
Oh great, now we have to compete with Mark's fabulous photography! Sheez! JKOC (just kidding of course)! Looking forward to many fine pictures and great story lines. Looks like another JA, has arrived on the scene. Umm, that might be stretching it a bit...but you never know.
