I started MSTS this evening and I got started into the game then I got these error messages saying that the game was missing these files :"\n11 emrr flatcar\flat_emrr.wag" and another "\n11 coal1\emrr_coal_fl.wag" I didn't change any thing in the last week and it worked fine the eveing before. I searched the files for anything like those names, but I no I dea where they are supposed to go to. Help ASAP, thanks! [IMG]

I do not believe these are stock MSTS files. Sounds like you are missing part of a download. If that same route, activity and consist worked before and you added nothing, try a reboot. If that does not work, download the activity and try again.

The two files are wag files. Follow this path:
    Program Files
    Microsoft Games
    Train Simulator
    Trains
    Train Set

Find n11 and n11 flat. Open these folders. This is where they belong. If there are not listed in the Train Set folders, you can not run MSTS.

    The two folders are:
    n11 emrr flatcar
    n11 coal1

If you can not find these too folders and do not know where you got them from, either delete the consist or activity, or open the consist with WORD PAD only and delete them there.

    For a quick find:

    Start
    Find
    File
Type in: n11 emrr flatcar or n11 coal1
    Look in :)C:
Double click on the folder by that name. There has to be a .wag file there.

    A&A,

A good utility for working through this problem is Consist Builder which is you can download from Train-sim.com.

The problem you are having is either a missing folder for a piece of equipment or a missing file.

The error is being generated from the East Metro RR route as the N11* are all from either the East Metro RR route or its predecessor, the Number 11 route.

Does the error occur when you startup MSTS or when you select a specific activity?
