Yeah Art, you got anything on the HWI orders? To those who don't know, those are High Wide Instructions for special and unusual loads. There must be some tunnel, bridge, or overpass or something around Point-o-Rocks area.
In the N Forum there is a connection to a website of photoessays done by a guy who has worked on BNSF for a very long time, and there are some nice pictures there of 700 series planes on flatcars. Makes sence. [ 26 January 2002, 20:04: Message edited by: Benny ]
After a little push from watash, maybe I might have the info you`re looking for. Aside from the humor, 707`s on CSX in our rules manual concerns MOW workers who are working on controlled tracks with a conditional stop order in place to protect them.Anything from changing out rail, welding, to construction projects. On tracks that are not control from any office or dispatcher, workers are protected under rule # 704-A. Hope this clears some of the confusion. Good day.
Burnfuel, Welcome to the TB Forum, and thanks very much. Information like yours is very helpful, expecially when it comes right out of the "Book" and is Factual ! Please stick around, it's nice to hear from you ...
