I built an Arduino Uno base station and downloaded DCC++ software. Previously, I came across a way to test the base station using jumpers between pins. I no longer am able to find how to do this, even though I have scoured YouTube. Can anybody point me to a description on how to test the base station by moving jumpers? Thanks in advance.
How are you trying to test it? Are you using the original DCC++ software. If so I'd for sure move onto DCC-EX ( https://dcc-ex.com/ ). As far as I know it will still work on a Uno although a mega offers a lot more flexibility and for another $10 you can have WiFi for sure (maybe also on the Uno). DCC-EX is far superior to the original DCC++. On the DCC-EX site they have a section on using the serial monitor which might be what you are referring to?
