Have a look at www.geocities.com/~mopac/mphist01.htm which is actually about the Mopac but contains various references to its majority owned subsidiary T & P. The Texas Panhandle Railroad Historical Society website is also very interesting generally on the subject of railroads in Texas. Ben
Thanks to all that responded re T & P I did locate a book "T&P Railway Operations and Traffic" by Charles P Zlatkovich although I am told it is out of print. Amazon is looking for it but so far no luck. Would anyone out there have a copy.??
Fostoria, contact the Texas State Railroad at Palestine, Texas, they have T&P 2-10-4 #610 stored awaiting enough private money to "restore" it for tourist use. (It ran in the shed under its own steam the day they let her fires down.) You can't get near it!! ------------------ Watash #982
