For all you folks that offered suggestions on how to get the GPS antenna domes on my Dash 9s I give a hearty thanks! I was able to get them on without inflicting any damage to the locos themselves. I ended up cutting out a section on the antenna base and then hollowing out part of the antenna bottom with the standard hobby knife. These two modifications allowed me to mount the GPS domes right over the molded on "skate" antenna without making any modifications to the loco itself. That way if I decide to change my mind at a later date I can remove the domes and have a pristine cab again.

By the way, I mounted the domes with regular white glue that can be cleanly removed later.

Thanks for all your help----they look great!!

    BNSF,
Your very welcome, also... I have a slight comment on the glue you used.. That white glue in time from vibration and movement will loosen. If your looking for a way to fasten it without it loosening besides by you removing it.. I'd suggest you use alittle rubber cement. it won't loosen from running or handling as easy as the white glue tends to do! The rubber cement can even be rubbed off instead of cleaned with water or whatnot... And won't hurt the original finish of the cab... :D
