    I don't remember if I, or someone else, posted this video earlier, but I don't care because it brings back wonderful memories of when train travel was elegance and enjoyment. I never rode the Century, only a half-dozen or so memorable Pullman nights on long forgotten names of Central and New Haven/Boston&Maine trains.

    Hank, wow, that's one I have never seen before. I thought I had all the Central's PR films, but that's a new one to me. Thanks for posting it. I have one of the Century from the other end, Grand Central. Like you, I never rode the Century. Heck, as a kid in upstate NY, who needed or could afford to go to Chicago? Most folks back then had not, nor would not settle more than 50 miles from their birthplace towns. Interesting that the cars were heavyweights in this film, so it must have been filmed prior to the 1938 "new" 20th Century.
