The railfans lament. Always true. Hopefully someone will grab photos to share with us.

Kevin, wish I was there, too. Bob Kittel is firing and Bill Stetler running. I miss that locomotive, but an 1,000 miles away now. Next weekend will get to see 4449 steamed up again. :tb-biggrin:

Nice to see that it is still running. Haven't heard anything on this engine in years.

Next weekend it will be leaving Los Angles at 9:15 and arriving in San Bernardino between 10&11 for "railroad days". The depot & 3751 will be open for tours, layouts in a tent outside, antique vehicles, modern displays and wait for it..............."Harvey Girls". Dont forget to drop by Busy Bee, They have a good stash of n-scale. http://www.sbdepotmuseum.com

The updates were coming from the locomotive crew, which is why they were a bit sporatic at times. I was responsible for the Twitter updates, but some of the gaps in the updates were because I was in the locomotive cab and (obviously) could not "tweet" with my cell phone.

Hey JDC, welcome to Trainboard! Glad to hear you were part of the crew again. Stetler is a stickler for firemen. Did he give you any flak? :tb-biggrin:

I was sad I missed a chance to see 3751 again this year, but next week will make up for it.

In his typical "lovable" fashion, of course. Actually, I welcome his cristism because it is always very constructive and educational. One can learn a lot from the professor.
