Does anyone have the books on Micro-Trains? If so, how good are they? and where are they available? I've never even seen them advertised anywhere. I have heard that they are pretty expensive. A quick review of these books would be great!
From what I recall, these were the collectors bible on MTL releases back to the old Kadee days. Several volumes were published and these are hard to find. Keep and eye open on Ebay or the collectors auctions. Also a message to the Yahoo N collectors group heirarchy wouldn't go astray if you want to find out more. Gary.
I have seen them and I know mitch(mopac) has one of them. They have pics of all of the old stuff in them. But I think there are two or three.Maybe more than that.
I just thought that they might be something that I could ask the wife to get me for Christmas, but if finding them is like a quest for the Holy Grail she will lose interest quickly. Evidently maybe they are no longer in circulation?
I never knew they exsisted until I saw them this year.I think the Holy Grail will be easier to locate.
Keep an eye on the eBay seller "egatco". I know Larry occasionally lists the "Paddington and Wehr" Microtrains Collectors Guide. You may even contact him directly and see if he has any available. Bill
