How terrible is THAT...another unique railroad flushed into history like FECes...that's a genuine shame.
Personally, I like the original FEC colors on their first order of SD70M-2s better, but that's just me. But I seriously doubt that the new color scheme will spread to every locomotive RA operates too quickly.
The paint scheme is similar to BN's first group of SD70MACs back in '93-94, with different colors. The paint job looks nice, at least it ain't Armour Yellow and harbor Mist Gray.
If our history is any indication, it'll take 2 decades at least to get even half of the fleet painted. We have units that have been on RailAmerica property for at least that long now and still wear only a basic patch.
