In brief, the article states that it has been purchased and was moved to the ML Ranch near Ignacio, CO. There are photographs as part of the article and looks to be in good shape and arrived safe and sound at it's new location. :tb-biggrin: :tb-biggrin: :tb-biggrin: :tb-biggrin:
Alaska GP49 was on that very train, when #489 decided she wanted to be on the ground more than on the rails....
After being a loyal supporter since January 2007 and I remained a supporter after it fell on hard times and moved to Chama, New Mexico (April 2008) , I have sadly discontinued my subscription (October 2009) for financial reasons. For many years you were Colorado's only RR Newspaper (until June 2008) when another RR Newspaper based out of Denver went into print and I became a subscriber to both. For what is happening in Colorado, our newest RR Newspaper (Colorado Railroad Journal) is now my only RR Newspaper as of November 2009. Good Luck to "The Colorado Time-Table", I wish you all the best as you continue to cover RR news in the region... COLORADO TIME-TABLE (My Collection)
