I picked up an Athearn F unit cheaply. It runs pretty good. Smooth and fairly quiet. Even has directional lighting. One tiny little problem, it runs backwards from my other engines. So, here is a picture of the wiring. I figure someone can see what is wrong with the wiring. Must have happened when the directional lighting was installed. Any help would sure be appreciated.

PC - I stumbled onto that problem last year when i was working on a few of my Athearn F7s. It turned out to be pretty simple in my case, I imagine you have the same situation. What happened after I had cleaned and lubed the trucks, is that I had them switched when I put them back on the frame so it ran "backwards". Swap the trucks and you should be going the right direction.

    Thanks....that fixed it.
It's just taking forever to build bookcases in my dining area for all the books in the train room. Right now, the bookcase I'm building is 8' wide, floor to ceiling. Hopefully, I can start on the bench work by the end of the week. I did find a picture I want to model on the layout coming west bound down from Donner Summit. I can hide smaller than idea radius curves so that passenger cars don't look so bad. I like the various colors of green in the trees. The big difference will be a lash up of F unit Black Widow A-B-B-A freight with a SD7 helper pulling up the rear to be dropped off in Piney Creek. I couldn't seem to post the pic but here is the link
