I am 76 years old now and 37 years ago I started making model railroad product, first from SSLtd (Scale Structures Ltd) and most recently as N SCALE of NEVADA LLC.

None of my three sons want to take over the throttle - so to speak - I have, therefore, decided to shut down NSN and CREATIVE HORIZONS effective October 28th.

You can order any product displayed on out web site until then, paying for your order with a Personal Check or a M.O. - your needs will be shipped in 3 days or less via USPS PRIORITY MAIL

After Oct28th I can work on my model railroad and from time to time shaare a photo or two of the progress thereon.

    Thanks

    John Coots

John, have you considered selling the business rather than just closing up? It sure would be a shame to see your fine line of products disappear from the market.

    John,
From the first time I saw your layout in model railroader, to buying several of your great products, you have always been considered to me to be one of N Scales best.
Thank you for the inspiration, and some of the finest N Scale products ever made. Several of your kits will be done and put on my layout with pride.
    Happy Railroading my friend.

When a certain model manufacturer tried to pinch pennies and use the frame from a previously released locomotive for a model of a different locomotive altogether, it was people like John Coots who immediately produced retro-frames to correct this huge error in judgement. Luckily for us, the manufacturers saw the error in their ways.

N scale took a huge step in the right direction because of people like John. Thanks John, for making them see the light and helping to bring N scale out of the shadows and into the forefront of model railroading. [IMG]

I certainly remember that incident! Whatever happened ,that they released such an animal, at least we were then able to correct it quickly via purchasing those retro-frames!

John, If you haven't noticed, the gray market (ebay) for SS-LTD is GOLDEN...its scary how popular and impossible to get some of you stuff is, and its all prety much one of a kind.

I seriously hope you find a good buyer, If I havd another life, i might ocnsider that sort of thing, but I'm in college now roaringto start a carreer in science education...in good news, I get three months a year off!

Thanks for everything, and someday, hopefully I will get one of those kits...not yet, they are a little to rich for my blood!!
