I was thinking the same thing. If not carpet why not area rugs?

I am not telling him. I haven't seen him in a couple of years so unless he decides to show up i doubt he will ever know. so i am putting the area rug down and hope for the best. I think i found out what happened to the floor here in my office. The roof leaked and the wood was damaged thats why all the splinters. Whats the worst that can happen. he shows up and surprise i am looking for another home. If thats the worst oh well...

It shouldn’t be an issue, Smoke. Carpeting is permanent but an area rug just sits on the floor. When you’re done with it you just roll it up and take it away with no damage to the floor.

East or west, home is best!

Hospitals are great for saving your life, but home restores your life!

Get well and back to model railroading soon!

Thanks foks. The black bag crew just came out i am doing great just still weak in the breathing yet. They got me on moisture along with 3 liters of Oxygen to help keep me from getting sick again. and a couple of steroids to help along with that too. I am on the downhill side but have to take care i don't do something that will screw it all up. Not doing anything with the layout right now. I did run a train on it with the new FP7a and that was fun. I have to repaint that engine to C&O markings. Right now i am looking around and see what i need to do for the layout and i just ...not today. When i feel better i will get after the fun again. Everyone have a safe one.Smoke
