I have put another video on youtube of Great Western Railway 'King'class 4-6-0 number 6024 out on the main line. This immaculately kept engine is a regular performer on railtours and over the years I have managed to film it three times in various parts of England in 2007 I saw it arriving back at its home base at the Didcot railway centre in Oxfordshire after hauling the 'Bristol and Bath' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22zT8t-N2b4 Back in 2000 it went past my old house in Chesterfield on the Midland 'Old Road' and took water from a local fire Hydrant http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3dbanDW1zI It was also at Chesterfield on the 'Ports to Ports' excursion. On this occasion the lengthy water stop meant the driver had to make extensive use of the cylinder drain cocks on restarting with specatcular effect http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_7iNfErspw Hopefully I'll get this loco in action again this summer KEV
