As a person who rarely watches TV, Angela's son who fortunately loves history as much as I, pointed this show out to me. I was impressed with the series overall. I enjoy the way they portrays the era, so far with very little mistakes (anyone catch the diesel horn sound clip while the steam train was shown?) While I would not consider the series to be the end all history lesson of the Industrial Age, I would say it is a powerful tool to help illustrate this pivotal time in our Nations history.

I watched it a bit too the other night. I take it that no one noticed that most of the trains were european? They did have some shots of the yards in strasburg, but almost every shot of a moving train was something from europe! I thought this was a show about how America was built, and not a show of european trains! I also got tired of seeing the same shots over and over again, but that seems to be the way they do things now.

I think the content was good, but the videographers need to be fired. I'm giving it a thumbs down!
