RF&P GP40's #122 & #124 running "Caboose Light" heads towards the VAR Spotsylvania Yard Complex (Spotsy Yard) for the early morning yard transfer run. The Spotsy Transfer runs about 4 times per day, twice out of the RF&P Fredericksburg Yard (with RF&P Power) and twice out of the VAR Spotsy Yard (with VARR power). These two early morning shots didn't have the best light, as the large trees behind the photographer kept the RF&P units in the shade, but left the large field beyond the tracks (and the forest edge beyond that) in bright sunlight.
