The woman with a railroad under her arm!! She was the one who managed to save the Southern until abandonment and eventual dismantling in 1951. WW2 and one persons determination!! Also a good read on Alvin A. Rust and his logging operations in the area. As well as what he did for his workers and the town in general. This is one book I might consider a Must Read, because of the interesting stories about 2 seperate individuals. Up next, Vol 7.
I so badly wish I had a time machine so I could go back and see these operations before they disappeared... I guess these books are as close to bringing back the RGS, or whatever ghost RR you desire.
