Hi all. I too am returning to model railroading after a 15 year hiatus. My how things have changed! DCC, kadee couples as standard equipment etc...

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had any info on Eric Broomans[sp] Utah Belt. I was following it in the mid eighties but was wondering what the current status was now. Does he have a website?

Great site you guys have here! Andy

The Utah Belt is still active and from the last article on it in MR it's continuously being updated motive power wise.

I don't remember the exact dates on either issue, but there was also an article in Great Model Railroads in the 97' edition if i remember right. I'll try to get the exact issues...

No website that i'm aware of.

I to like the Utah Belt, but dont seem to see much of it these days, it must be easyier these days for him to keep up to date unlike it was back in the 80's and early 90's.

Believe his layout is on tour for the NMRA national convention in St Louis year 2001. You can check their convention website for info.
