    Roger Hensley sez... This is WW I. It was taken from around the Anderson Big Four Station on the street side. Although I don't know what the occasion was, it is a great picture. This is just one of the photos from the WW I History Display at the History Center. Coming Soon!

    The gentleman to the right of the soldier at attention appears to be wearing a beret, thus might be a French official. I can't make out the limp flag, but this may be a post-war Thank You celebration for the people of Anderson coming to the aid of the French during WW-I.
