Well here is my quary from today. BNSF 5688 is working hard and the second unit is belching smoke with one truck cut out on its way to the top at Palmer Lake. The consist was working hard to mantain 10 mph on the way to the top. Enjoy!
I caught him first at the Larkspur exit Tier what?

Nice shots, Steve. Looks like the second unit is still original paint scheme.

Awwwwwwww... the Joint Line. [IMG] Years back a book was published called The Wendover, Acme and Virginia Point which covered the Joint Line amongst others. Fabulous book though in B&W for the most part which wasn't a problem considering most of the locos were in their correct schemes anyway (green and black plus predecessors and Frisco).
It was my first BN book!

One day I will get to it.
