Tinted Passenger Windows

I am trying to model the Hi-Level coaches (Train Station Products) used on the Heartland Flyer and need some help either tinting or getting tinted plastic to make the windows, something like the plastic used in the Walthers Superliner II

Have you tried the tinting film for car windows? Just an idea....

You could also try some of the spray or airbrush paints for tinting model car windows and aircraft canopies. I know Tamiya and Testors, among other companies, make them.

Just don't go to the car dealership with your cars and tell them you want the windows tinted. I am more then sure they will laugh you out the door.

"Yeah, I want my windows tinted..."
