Billings-bound BNSF manifest creeps out of Great Falls yard across the Missouri River:

It was in the high 80's that day, but it's gonna be ludicrously hot the next 7-10 days--or more. Ugh. :(

I dunno about "excellent", but that river is chilly.... As for me, make mine (Henry Weinhard's) root beer! :)

My memory is telling me a lot of people have drowned in that part of the River. As they don't realize how cold it is....

Well, maybe some shade, a camera, and a few trains. How much traffic daily?

3-5, I think TPD... I am not really sure, but it's not much.
There's a boat launch just west of the trestle, and a fierce current too. The current likely takes swimmers for a ride, especially unprepared ones. Add the temp for the cold water, and it's a chilling dip. Nowadays the state has closed fishing in the Smith and Sun rivers feeding the Missouri in the area around GF, because the water is so warm, it threatens the trout population. The Mo is still chilly, methinks.
