New DHVM Section dedicated to the D&H Police starting with yet another great umages from Johnny Trains. DHVM - Police Department
Johnny is blushing. I took that on June 12th, 2001 in Albany, NY. in the old D&H yard. That's the CP Police at the old D&H RR Police station. There is a small piggyback operation there and I wonder if that service goes back to the D&H or did CP start it. The yard isn't very large. No cops were around either. NOTE; THAT SHOT TAKEN PRE 9/11. I WONDER IF WE WOULD HAVE FREE REIGN NOW?
I will try to rememeber to update the site with the date information as I know people like knowing when certain photographs were taken. What do you think of this new section?
I think it's about time someone recognized the railway police, D&H or not! By the way, I subscribe to POLICE COLLECTORS NEWS and they would love to see badges like those in their publication! Your new section is way cool!
