Torched!!

Lead locomotive, for the Longmont Local.
Didn't see how bad it was, until later in the day.

 

I'm starting to think there may not have been anything left
of those door sections, from the looks of the surrounding
areas. And there's a small section on the other side that's
been charred as well. About 1/4 of what's shown here.

 

I'm sure it was distorted and none of the door latches worked anymore. On all GE's if a fuel line breaks or leaks it usually sprays directly on the exhaust pipes.

I see the broken high pressure fuel line .. do you ?

 

... just a flesh wound...
