    Evening everyone,

My dad, age 93, is having a problem with the wood he uses as a base to mount track. Being so hot and humid here in the south the word is warping and causing the track to buckle. He’s interested in a synthetic material to replace the wood that won’t have this problem. I could probably replace most of mine at this point as well. Suggestions? Thanks.

steel is one thing to use angle iron ect.. Steel 2x4's ..
Aluminum angle iron or channel ... (this would be light but strong enough )
There is a plasic decking material out there as well 1 x 4's....1x6's......
